About iWiFi

iWiFi aims to be Australia's next wireless internet hotspot and location-based web portal provider.

iWiFi was inspired by the NSW Government's stalled Wi-Fi project and the desire to see the spread of the wireless web experience in a publicly accessible open space.

What is iWiFi Bondi?

iWifi is a free wireless internet service which allows you to browse the web while you are out & about. We have chosen to launch our service at Bondi Beach because we wanted to find a place where people could connect to the internet which does not have a desk and chair.

You can access the FREE service by using your WLAN compatible device to browse the internet. You are allowed to connect to the service for up to 20 minutes at a time. Once you are logged out - you can still browse the iWiFi Bondi site to find out about what fun things you can see, do or eat in the area. Within 2 minutes you will be able to log back in.

Whether you are watching the waves, sunbaking on the sand or admiring the sunrise, the possibilities with iWiFi are endless.

Will I be charged for using this service?

No. Seriously, this service is free !! There are no hidden costs either and you don’t have to buy anything either!!

How secure is the network?

The network uses user management software which will allow secure usage. However it must be said that you should guard against using this service to do financial transactions and or exchange of private data.

What are the terms and conditions of use?

The service is free to use, so long as the user adheres to the acceptable use policy. All this really means is that users should not abuse the service or use it to access pornographic or morally questionable content.
