15th AIMIA Best Student Project

iWiFi Bondi, has won the 15th Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) Best Student Project Award! The winners were announced at the awards ceremony on the 13th of March and walked away with a wonderful trophy, accolades and beaming-ear-to-ear smiles :)

This year, AIMIA received more entries than ever before, from which one hundred were short-listed across all the award categories. According to Paul McCarthy, Chair of Judging, "With fierce competition and a rigorous and independent judging process, only the most outstanding work is ever short-listed for an AIMIA award."

Caroline Chung and Ranjeet Elkunchwar attended and accepted the award on behalf of the team.

Drs Linda Leung and Meredith Jones, and subject coordinator Janice Driman also attended the awards. Linda was a judge in the Best Learning & Education category.

Description:
This prize is awarded to a student/group of students. The product must be an interactive media product or contain significant multimedia elements that are stored on or served over a cartridge, the World Wide Web (the Web), mobile networks, iTV/Digital TV, PC or console, kiosk, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, intranet or extranet. It must be entered by the developer and/or publisher of the product. More than 75% of the development must have occurred in Australia or New Zealand.
